Proudly Serving Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia
A great pool starts long before the water goes in. We bring the planning and care that turn your idea into a pool built to last.
Your new pool should fit your yard, your family and the way you like to swim. PoolTek builds gunite, vinyl and fiberglass inground pools. And unlike a construction-only company, we’re still here after the build to open, close and care for your pool.
We’ve served pools in Maryland, Washington DC and Northern Virginia since 1986. Our in-house masons, service crews and office staff all work for one company.
Slope, soil, sun and access all shape a pool’s design. We plan around your space so the pool fits and works well. You choose the shape, depth, steps, benches, finishes and lighting.
We guide you toward choices that are easy to care for. Pick gunite for full custom design, vinyl for a smooth surface at a lower cost, or fiberglass for a fast install.
We’ll help you weigh each one. You can add tanning ledges, a spa, LED lighting, automation and an automatic cover.
We manage design, permits, digging, plumbing, electrical and finishing, with updates at each stage.
In Montgomery County, a new pool needs a building permit and an electrical permit. Pools installed after January 1, 1990 must have a barrier at least 60 inches tall. (Montgomery County DPS) We plan for these rules from day one.
